Mya took her love of the arts and fashion and felt the desire to apply her skills into the beauty industry to create visually inspiring concepts with something new: hair. She began her hair journey with the Aveda Institute Denver in Spring of 2020 - there she honed her skills to extend her concept of physical art through color techniques and cutting-edge haircuts. She believes that in an ever changing career, you can never know enough and continues to grow her education everyday. When she’s not at the Salon, you’ll find her present in Denver’s alternative music scene, including underground metal and punk shows. When you stop by you may even see her sporting her one of a kind patch jacket with some of her favorite bands.
